Ready to bring your vision to life? Reach out however you like—email, DM, or fill out the contact form below!

Tell me all about your dream piece and how you want it to make you feel! Feel free to share pictures, color palettes, inspiration, or even snaps of your space to help shape the perfect artwork. Whether you have a crystal-clear idea or just a vibe you want to explore, I’m here to make it happen.

Once I get your message, we’ll kick off the creative process, chat about your budget, and find the perfect canvas size to fit your space beautifully. When you schedule a longer consultation if you decide to move forward the amount paid will go towards the balance for your artwork. Let’s make something incredible together!

2. Payment

Let’s Bring Your Vision to Life!

To secure your spot on my commission schedule, a 50% deposit is required—once that’s in, you’re officially on the list! You’ll receive an invoice via email, and I also offer monthly installment options for added flexibility.

Pricing: All commissions start at $650, with rates varying per square foot based on the level of detail. Framing is a personal choice—if you’d like your piece framed, complimentary custom framing is included in the price!

Once the remaining 50% balance is paid in full, I’ll begin the painting process and bring your vision to life. Let’s create something truly special together!

3. Trust the Process

Once your deposit is processed, I’ll begin planning to map out the vision—but from that point on, it’s all in my hands! You won’t see any previews during the creation process—the first time you experience your artwork will be in person, once it’s complete. This is where I ask you to trust my artistic vision to bring your masterpiece to life!

From there, you might not hear from me for weeks to months, depending on the size and level of detail in your piece. But don’t worry—I’ll be hard at work, meticulously prepping, painting, and perfecting every element behind the scenes.

For privacy, no work-in-progress images will be shared—not with you, and not on social media. Your artwork is a personal, one-of-a-kind creation, and when the moment comes to reveal it, it’ll be well worth the wait

4. Studio to forever home...

Once your painting is dry (and if you’d like it framed), I’ll ask you to send over some images of your home decor. Using my interior architectural design skills, I’ll select a frame that best complements both your art and your space. The frame quality and style may vary depending on your preferences and budget. If you’d like something truly unique, I can have a custom frame made for you, or I can provide links to some great store-bought options that I personally recommend.

After the project is complete, I’ll schedule principal photography with a professional photographer to capture your artwork at its best. During that time, I’ll also be ordering a custom box for packaging and shipment, ensuring your piece arrives safely.

Since you’ve already paid in full, you won’t see any final invoice—just the tracking info on your invoice so you can follow the journey of your masterpiece straight to your door.

FAQ's

How long will my commission take?

It depends on the complexity of the artwork, the level of detail and size. It can take anywhere from 1 month to 6 months or more.

About how much will my custom art cost?

It really depends on how much your looking to spend. We do our best to accommodate most budgets. The base line for commissions start at $750 and can go up from there. When you add multiple subjects, colors, larger canvas sizes, intricate textures and or 3D elements, custom framing that will increase the price.

When I pay for a consultation does that apply to my balance if I move forward?

Yes, if you choose to move forward with your project the consultation fee will apply towards your artwork balance. If you decide not to move forward within 30 days of your consultation. The appointment fee is just paying for the time to meet with Shaz and will not apply to any future purchase.

What if I don't end up liking the artwork?

Then don't hire Shaz Taylor. If you are not absolutely in love with 98% of the art she has created. She is not the right artist for your project if you have doubts. Our clients must trust the artist to exercise her creative license and if she sense doubt then there is a good chance she will not accept your project. Although it is a collaboration, its import for clients to surrender the creativity process for Shaz to create in her artistic style. This relationship and trust is very important in order to achieve a successful commission.

What happens if my images are rejected?

Shaz will ask all potential clients to submit 3-5 or more unfiltered HD high quality images. No blurry images, or overly filter images will be accepted. If that is not the case, and its still rejected, that mean the image is not something that sparks creativity within the artist and she wouldn't be excited to paint the subject matter. So essentially, she may not accept the reference image thus rejecting your project.

What if I change my mind about the art after the commission process has begun?

We are not able to accommodate indecisiveness. Because you are paid in full before the commission starts and there are no refunds, the best we can do is give you a partial credit towards another piece of original artwork.

Will I receive work in progress photo?

No

I need custom art immediately, can you accommodate that?

Shaz gets booked and she most likely will not be able too unless its a mini, single color portrait. Even then, there will be a rush fee to accommodate special request. Fastest turn around may be three weeks but that will vary depending on her schedule. Full transparency, you shouldn't hold your breath, she is flexible but not always available to drop everything in an instance.

Do you offer white glove delivery?

Yes we do, upon request for a small additional fee. This will be added in the total for your artwork once we see if your area qualifies for service.
